Chances are that you might already own a copy of Left 4 Dead 2, a zombie survival shooter game. However, if you don't have it already, you can get one for FREE.

Valve's Left 4 Dead 2 is free to download for Steam users until Dec. 26, 10am PST/1PM EST. All you need to do is head over to the Left 4 Dead 2 page and click on "Install game."

"To celebrate the holidays in a special way this year, Left 4 Dead 2 will be free until 10AM PST 12/26. It will be free as in, grab it now, pay no money, and it is yours to keep forever - FOR FREE! To claim your L4D2 gift, all you need to do is install it," read the announcement on Valve's L4D blog.

The mega-popular zombie co-op shooter game, Left 4 Dead 2 is available for Mac OS X, Windows and Linux. Your role in the game is of a survivor in a zombie apocalypses where you have to manage until help arrives. The essence of the game is co-operative gameplay which makes it even more tempting to try.

As of present, Steam's servers are struggling with obvious demands so don't get surprised if it takes a while before you get to download the game.

Valve is also offering 50 percent discount on its complete game pack, which contains 24 classic games. The bundle is on offer for $49.99 instead of the regular $99.99, till Jan. 2, 2014.
