A man is blaming CVS for the collapse of his marriage. This man from New York is claiming that an employee from CVS violated his privacy by discussing his prescription for Viagra and is suing the franchise for it.

The Little Blue Pill

Michael Feinberg purchased a prescription for eight 100 milligrams of Viagra last year and had five refills for it. Feinberg claims that he had made a specific payment plan with the CVS branch located on Merrick Road.

The plan would be that Feinberg would pay for the prescription himself. Feinberg stated that he explained this situation to a CVS employee, who was given the name Aurula in the court documents because he did not want his insurance covering the cost of the viagra. The cost of a single viagra pill is usually $60.

A few days later, his wife called to check on the status of her own prescription and the employee she spoke to told her of her husband's Viagra prescription.

The Long Island native claims that the employee had no right to tell his wife about his Viagra prescription and by doing this, it has caused their marriage to "break down" and "genuine, severe mental injury, and emotional harm." Feinberg also claims that the employee violated his rights under the HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) Law.

A spokesperson for CVS, Gary Serby, responded to this allegation and lawsuit by stating that the franchise places "the highest priority" on protecting their customers' privacy.

Erectile Dysfunction

According to the Mayo Clinic, erectile dysfunction happens when a man is unable to keep or get an erection for sex. The disorder, which is also known as impotence, usually is a serious concern unless it becomes an on-going issue.

If this becomes an on-going issue, it can lead to other stresses and problems within a relationship. Mental issues that can occur from this disorder can be, depression and anxiety.

An erectile dysfunction can also be a sign of other health-related problems. Common causes that could lead to an erectile dysfunction can be heart disease, obesity, an injury, diabetes, sleep disorders, Parkinson's disease, and alcoholism or other substance abuse.

In addition to Viagra, men who suffer from this condition may also take other medications including Avanafil or Tadalafil, have surgery conducted, or get a pump. Therapy and exercise have also been suggested to help treat the condition.
