John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile, revealed through a statement his predictions for next year involving the Un-carrier and the wireless communications industry in general.

Legere first discussed the wireless revolution that T-Mobile initiated, which has shaken up the industry as the company's rival carriers continue with their "pathetic efforts," as Legere said, to keep up with the moves being made by T-Mobile.

Over the previous 20 months, which saw T-Mobile making eight Un-carrier moves, the wireless revolution has gained massive momentum, one effect of which has led to 41 percent of devices purchased for the year made without any subsidies. However, Legere said that rival carriers will continue with their weak responses to the moves being made by T-Mobile.

Legere also said that he loved how people would compare the network speeds of T-Mobile with big companies such as Verizon, as it was unthinkable that consumers would expect T-Mobile to compete with them a couple of years ago.

T-Mobile has reached 264 million users in America with the company's LTE network compared to Verizon's 303 million users. However, T-Mobile's LTE network is the fastest nationwide, and for next year, Legere expects T-Mobile to increase its users to 300 million people over more coverage areas.

Legere fully expects rival wireless companies to "bumble along" amid T-Mobile's moves, as AT&T will look for more ways to cause pain to their customers, Sprint will keep releasing promos and offers and wait to see which ones are effective, and Verizon will continue with their attempts to confuse subscribers with misleading promos and offers.

Legere also revealed his belief that wearables and phablets will be the next big thing in devices, with the upcoming release of the Apple Watch as the event that will turn wearables from being niche devices into mainstream ones.

The Twitter account of Legere currently has almost a million followers, and through the website, the T-Mobile CEO has been able to communicate directly with T-Mobile customers. Legere expects that the number of his Twitter followers will increase to almost two million, or at least one and a half million, by the end of 2015.

Legere also expects the U.S. government to become very busy with regulation issues concerning the wireless communications industry. He hopes that the government will step in to allow smaller companies such as T-Mobile to have a chance against AT&T and Verizon, such as in the auction of low-band spectrum.

MetroPCS, which expanded from 15 metro areas to 45 this year, will continue its rise to dominance in the prepaid market, Legere predicts, along with the promise that the company will be accelerating its efforts in the business.

Lastly, Legere promises that T-Mobile will be bringing its Un-carrier moves to affect new groups of people, such as the quarter of Americans that do not yet own a smartphone and the households in the country that have no access to the Internet.

Legere also states his resolutions for next year, which are to keep listening to the customers, solving their pain points, and recommitting to "making life hell" for rival carriers, which do the same to customers.

The CEO concludes with the claim that T-Mobile will officially be declared the No. 3 wireless company in the U.S. next year, in advance of the final earnings reports for 2014.
