There's always one thing animé fans have always wanted, and that is to see a live-action version of Attack on Titan. More than likely, this won't happen for a long time to come, so to keep the stress levels down, fans can visit the Attack on Titan: The Real Exhibit in Japan in 2015.

The whole thing is being made by Universal Studios, a company that is known for creating many a great film with great graphics artwork. What the studio has done with Attack on Titan is nothing short of extraordinary, as the designers took the characters and Titan out of the animé world and made them look almost real.

It is clear from the design that Universal is going for the scare factor here, and why not? In the animé, the Titans are the scariest creatures humankind has ever come across. Even the most bravest of soldiers are scared to their teeth when fighting against one of these monsters, so imagine the experience of civilians who are not required to face a Titan on a regular basis.

From what we understand, the special event will run from Jan. 23 to May 10, 2015. It will include a 49-foot Eren in Titan form battling the female Titan that stands at 46 feet.

Everything is very impressively done, and it only makes us wish Universal or some other studio would grab the movie rights within the coming months. Let's be honest here: an Attack on Titan movie done right would make a killing at the box office, especially if the film is able to give moviegoers the feeling of fear and all the emotional baggage that comes with looking a Titan in its eyes, or mouth for that matter.

The first season of Attack on Titan came out in 2013, but the follow-up won't be launched until 2016. That is over a year away and three years after the first season was launched. We're not certain why it is taking so long, but we are confident some fans are not taking this news in stride.

There's also a movie planned, but it won't be made by any of the big studios, so we don't have much faith in it.
