Hideo Kojima's most awaited work, Death Stranding, will finally be released for the Sony PlayStation 4 after years of working on the project. Still, while fans initially thought it would be a PS4 exclusive, it will also be released on PC.

Death Stranding on PC

Kojima Productions has officially announced the arrival of the RPG game starring The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus on PC via their Twitter account, and it will be available starting "early summer" next year.

According to Polygon, the PC port will be published by 505 Games, but they did not specify where the games will be sold.

Although Death Stranding will go to the PC, PS4 users would still have exclusivity to the game for a few months, and it is highly possible that PC users will get spoiled once it is out, especially when it's a highly-anticipated game.

The Sea Otter Suit

On other Death Stranding news, the trailers are slowly trickling out as the game is nearing its release date for PS4, and another teaser was released, which includes a somewhat familiar face, especially for those who love watching late-night talk shows.

One of the most recent trailers for the Hideo Kojima game shows Conan O'Brien, the late-night talk show host with a popular segment known as "Clueless Gamer," wherein the host tries out a bunch of games for reviews.

Conan O'Brien has a cameo for Death Stranding.

In the game, O'Brien is "The Wondering MC," a character that will happily give you an otter suit that gives you a particular skill: allowing you to drift through streams slowly and rivers like any cozy otter would do.

Clueless Gamer Meets Legendary Game Dev

The host has also shown his visit to the top-secret Kojima Productions headquarters, where he got a chance to meet "the very elusive" Kojima himself face to face. The legendary game developer showed his toy collection to the comedian, showcasing a figurine of his own image as well as an Ultraman statuette.

After showing his toy collection, Kojima then asked O'Brien if he'd like to watch the trailer for Death Stranding, which they did.

Soon after, Kojima himself asked the host if he'd like to be in the game, then O'Brien was led to the 3D scanner room that has 80 cameras, which seems to be the start of O'Brien's journey to becoming a part of the game.

Besides O'Brien and Norman Reedus, we'll also see more familiar faces like actor Mads Mikkelsen and legendary director Guillermo del Toro.

Death Stranding will be released for PS4 on Nov. 8.
