The opportunity to catch Shadow Mewto is one of the most anticipated in this week's Pokemon GO Fest 2020 by Niantic!

On the second day of the event, crashing the party is no other than the Team Rocket which players need to battle through. But as they do so, they will have to face a few special encounters, including the Shadow Mewtwo

How to Get Shadow Mewtwo

First, you will have to collect the corrupted version of the well-known Psychic-type as this experience is only limited to those who bought tickets for the event.

Day 2 of Pokemon Go Fest involves the Rocket Straight to Victory special research which is comprised of several tasks that players need to complete to reap rewards.

In order to get Shadow Mewtwo as a reward, players need to complete the fourth task called "Defeat Go Team Rocket Boss Giovanni."

You can get the opportunity to capture Shadow Mewtwo as soon as you tap the completed task and defeated Giovanni.

Players also get an encounter with Pokemon Victini, two incense capsules, and 20 ultraultraballs as part of the reward for finishing the fourth task.

Pokemon GO can be downloaded both in the Google Play Sore and Apple App store but in select regions only.
