Santa is upon the public and got caught in a misfit's trap! In this case, adults set the trap with California's power lines, catching the Christmas legend off its guard as he distributes candy to spread the holiday festivities. The man was snared in Northern California's power lines and was recently brought down after several hours of hanging from a suspended state.

A man dressed as the legend and mythical Christmas holiday character, Santa Claus, got caught in Northern California's power lines early Sunday morning as he tried to distribute candy canes to children that are playing in the streets. The man was said to try and spread Christmas cheers and happiness to children who are out during that day.

Unfortunately, the bold and gleeful initiative of the Santa Glider man came to an immediate end after getting entangled on an electrical grid on his way to deliver more candies. According to KCRA-3, the man was thought to initially use a hang glider, which was later corrected to be a "hyper light" human aircraft.

The man was unidentified by the authorities for his protection and was successfully brought down from the grid uninjured and unharmed. Santa Claus's ruckus caused power interruptions for a total of 200 residents for the rescue operation to be a success for both the man and authorities.

Sacramento County's Santa said that he departed from a school in Rio Linda, and was also found in the same area after he crashed and failed his Christmas Mission. The "Hot Wire" Situation by the man's Santa Glider mission came to an immediate end at 11 am local time on early Sunday morning.

Santa's Christmas 2020 Effort: Bringing Cheers Amidst COVID-19 Pandemic

A member of Sacramento's Metro Fire Department who responded in the incident commended the efforts of Santa Glider despite failing in his mission to deliver the candies miserably. Christ Vestal of Sac Metro Fire said that "there's still good out in the world" and it was reflected on the efforts of Santa as he attempted to go across the Californian air space.

The fire rescue was immediately called after the California Highway Patrol (CHP) received multiple call reports from citizens near the area who say Santa hanging from his glider. Sac Metro Fire responded to the call and immediately secured the power to be shut down before beginning its rescue Santa operation.

The Sac Metro Fire's Twitter shared a video of the man's descent from his tangled situation, saying that Santa would be ready for this week and year's Christmas day on Saturday. Santa's sleigh was attached to a hyperlight and a parachute to ride the winds and glide over the city.
