Foreign fans of the popular Japanese RPG and dungeon crawler franchise "Persona" series can finally relive the adventures of Joker and the Phantom Thieves with the "Persona 5 Strikers," a spin-off of "Persona 5."

The Phantom Thieves are Back Again

As per PCGamer, the game is set months after the ending of "Persona 5," and the Phantom Thieves are yet again faced with a menacing enemy in the form of an idol and evil Artificial Intelligence. The event affects the majority of Japan, so it is up for the heroes to once again defeat the Shadows lurking in the deepest depths of every man's psyche.

Although "Persona 5 Strikers," fondly called "P5S" by the fans, shares the same universe and is a direct sequel of "Persona 5" and still retains most of the elements of the games before it, it's more of a hack-and-slash and fighting game, so it's a new take on the game.

As with previous titles, the heroes will have to fight different types of Shadows, including bosses that could be hard to defeat if you don't know what you're doing.

Lock Keeper Weaknesses

In "P5S" in particular, the Phantom Thieves will have to defeat Lock Keepers, the mini-bosses of the game.

According to SegmentNext, the Lock Keepers serve as the "last lifeline" of Monarchs, and by defeating these stronger versions of their Shadows, you can help the Monarchs admit their crimes and free their desires.

Every Lock Keeper in the game will be found in the "Trauma Room" of every Jail, protecting the Monarch from their traumatic past.

After defeating them, you would be granted a battle against the Jail Monarch.

Each of the Lock Keeper and Monarchs you encounter in "Persona 5 Strikers" will have different elemental weaknesses, but they all have a common denominator: they are vulnerable to Bless and Curse damages.

Moreover, Lock Keepers have the same elemental vulnerability as their Jail Monarchs.

How to Defeat Shibuya Lock Keeper: Axe

When you reach the Trauma Room of the Shibuya Jail, you'll encounter the first Lock Keeper of "Persona 5 Strikers," whose significant weaknesses include Bless, Curse, Fire, and Wind.

With a stagger gauge of 8, it's best to level up to level 10 or more before facing against this Lock Keeper, and then you can start using some Land Debuffs on the Shadow, including Rakunda, Tarunda, and Sukunda, which are accessible from Joker, Sophie, and Panther.

You should also cast some buffs using Joker's Personas, such as the Rakukaja, Tarukaja, and Sukukaja.

Then, make sure you use elemental attacks to destroy the Lock Keeper's shield before taking down the boss. Just wait until the Shadow deals with ailments like Burn before using Win and Nuclear attacks to inflict Technical Damage.

There are also Showtime attacks you can rely on to help defeat the enemies. Again, keep their weakness in mind.

How to Defeat Sendai Lock Keeper: Sword

The Sendai Lock Keeper will be the second mini-boss you'll have to fight in "Persona 5 Strikers." By the time you encounter this Shadow in the Trauma Room, be sure you are level 20 or above so you can defeat it with ease.

This specific enemy is weak to Bless, Curse, and Ice damages, so keep these in mind when using elemental attacks to lower its HP.

As with the first Lock Keeper, start with debuffs, then cast buffs on your party, then start attacking them with elemental damages. If you're closer to the boss, it's recommended to use some narrow-ranged elemental skill.

For Technical Damage, use Physical and Gun Attacks.

Again, build your showtime gauge and if Joker has the right persona, make a move to heavily damage or defeat the Lock Keeper.

How to Defeat Sapporo Lock Keeper: Shield

The Sapporo Jail Lock Keeper is easy to defeat with Curse, Bless, and Psychokinesis, keeping those in mind. This boss has a stagger gauge of 8, and you'll want to be level 35 or higher.

Repeat the same strategy by debuffing and buffing, then start with elemental attacks to break the shield.

For technical damage, the Sapporo Lock Keeper is vulnerable to ailments like Burn, so use Wind or Nuclear attacks for more damage. If they are dealing with ailments like Fear or Brainwash, use Psychokinesis. Then when the timing is right, end the fight with the Showtime attack.

How to Defeat Okinawa Lock Keeper: Multi-Arms

If you're ready to face the Lock Keeper of the "Persona 5 Strikers" Okinawa Jail, go to the Monitoring Room to find this mini-boss, which is rather hard to defeat since it's only weak to Bless and Curse damages. It's recommended to be at level 40 or higher before fighting it.

Again, start with debuffs and buffs to help you in the battle. For the latter, make use of Matarukaja, Masukaja, and Marakukaja for optimum offense and defense. Then try to cause Bless and Curse damages or other elemental attacks with the highest damages to break its shield.

Once it suffers from an ailment, be sure to use Gun, Nuclear, or Physical attacks for maximum damage.

Unlike other Lock Keepers, the Monitoring Room can help you defeat this mini-boss.

For example, there is a hanging scaffolding within the room. Attract the Lock Keeper near it, then use the terrain stunt to attack it from above. There's also nearby steel you can use to inflict more damage to it.

Finally, use your Showtime attack to finish the battle.

How to Defeat Osaka Lock Keeper: Bazooka

The final Lock Keeper you'll face in "Persona 5 Strikers" can be found in the Trauma Room in Osaka, which is weak against Curse, Bless, Nuke, and Electric attacks. Be sure you are at least level 40 before facing off with this final mini-boss.

Just like with the rest, start with some debuffs and buffs, and then focus on elemental attacks whenever possible. Since the mini-boss is vulnerable to Shock ailment, make sure you attack it with Gun, Physical, or Nuclear attacks. Then finish off with the Showtime attacks.
