Innovative cybersecurity leader Q-Net Security (QNS) teamed up with product engineer and manufacturer Custom Technologies to develop and manufacture the next generation of hardware security (hardsec) devices.

Developing and Fabricating the Next Generation of Hardsec Devices

QNS will be using its novel "quantum compute resistant" network devices, better known as "Q-Boxes," which can deliver unprecedented network data security even against the most sophisticated forms of cyberattacks. They also offer protection on a previously unattainable level, even with nation-level encryption technologies.

On the other hand, Custom Technologies is a full-spectrum engineering and manufacturing company with years of expertise from business logistics to actual product manufacturing. The tech company, based in Missouri, will be responsible for all of the machining, testing, and assembly work required to manufacture the next batch of Q-boxes. The next-level hardsec solution will be built at its Brentwood manufacturing facility, allowing QNS to focus on the product design and development at its St. Louis facility.

At Custom Technologies, we're excited about this opportunity to support something critically important on the global stage," said Custom Technologies CEO Ellen Mell. "Cybersecurity is a key issue facing the world, and we're proud to manufacture the Q-Box using our facility right here in Missouri, supporting domestic supply lines of critical technology."

"We're excited to source an increased volume of Q-Boxes from Custom Technologies," commented QNS CEO Dr. Ron Indeck. He explains that at QNS, their goal has been to get the technology to the industries that need it. The partnership with Custom Technologies is a "great step forward," that would allow increased distribution and faster adoption of their next-level hardsec solutions.

Custom Technologies have gained attention for its Minimum Viable Launch method in product development and manufacturing. With their approach, the company streamlines the transition between various development stages. The reduction of handoffs saves time and money for the customers and, more importantly, reduces miscommunication risks.

Currently, the QNS and Custom collaboration is at the producing stage, where every batch created undergoes a sophisticated lot and serial tracking method that ensures traceability and security for all components used in the production process.
