'Dead By Daylight' Board Game on Kickstarter
The developer of "Dead by Daylight," Behaviour Interactive, is working with the publisher of the gaming title to release a board game experience based on the hit horror multiplayer.
As per a news story by EuroGamer, the "Dead by Daylight" publisher announced that the Kickstarter campaign for the board game is beginning on March 29.
It will be allowing fans of the hit horror multiplayer to get their hands on the upcoming board game by backing its initial crowdfunding.
The crowdfunding campaign of the horror board game will be available in two versions, including a Standard and Collector's Edition.
The Standard Edition of the "Dead by Daylight: The Board Game" comes with seven Survivors, six Killers, as well as two maps, which costs $49.99.
On the other hand, the more expensive Collector's Edition of the board game, which carries a price tag of $99.99, includes up to seventeen Survivors, sixteen Killers, and four maps.
On top of that, the Collector's Edition also comes with additional miniature hooks that the Killer could use, according to a recent report by The Nerd Stash. What's more, there are also generators on the more expensive version that its players could display.

'Dead by Daylight: The Board Game:' What to Expect
The physical version of the hit horror gaming title still sports that same horror experience in the multiplayer game.
Just like the gaming title, the board game features both Survivors and Killers. Four players could play as the Survivors, while there is still a single player that would take the role of the Killer.
Those who are playing as the Survivors will have to both locate and repair the generators on the map, while at the same time, they should also try to dodge the wrath of the lone Killer.

Aside from the identical gameplay experience from the original gaming title, the physical game also carries similar horror aesthetics for its maps and characters.
The designer of the board game, Dr. Brad Talton Jr., said in a statement to EuroGamer that they have "worked hard to capture the tension between the Survivors and the Killer on every turn."
In fact, the game director of "Dead by Daylight," Mathieu Cote, himself said that the board games "perfectly adapted" the experience of the hit horror multiplayer.
