Disney+'s Moon Knight is Most In-Demand Show

As per a news story by Business Insider, Moon Knight has been at the top of the race for the last two weeks straight, outperforming other Disney Plus Marvel series, such as Hawkeye and Loki.

The data from Parrot Analytics says that Moon Knight has been 86.5 times more in demand when compared to the average performance of other series out there.

It maintained the top ranking since the Marvel miniseries first saw the light of day last March 30.

Business Insider further explained what audience demand actually means. It includes not only the interests of viewers. But it also takes into account both the overall popularity of the show, as well as the engagement.

Most In-Demand Show in-Demand New Show

Although Moon Knight tops that general in-demand shows ranking, for the "new shows" category the same could not be said.

The HBO Max romantic comedy series, Our Flag Means Death, has been reigning among the most in-demand new shows ranking for five weeks already, according to a recent report by ComicBook.com

On the other hand, the live-action Marvel series, Moon Knight, only ranked second on the list, trailing behind the HBO Max show.

The producer and writer of Our Flag Means Death, David Jenkins, himself tweeted the achievement, saying "read it and weep haters. 5 weeks in a row."

Disney+ and Marvel

Meanwhile, it is worth noting that all of the Marvel shows of Disney+ have made it to the number one spot in the most in-demand shows globally.

Undoubtedly, the data of Parrot Analytics clearly shows that the live-action Marvel series of Dinsey+ is jacking up the views of the giant streaming service.

Attendees visit the Disney+ streaming service booth at the D23 Expo, billed as the "largest Disney fan event in the world," August 23, 2019 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.

However, Business Insider said in the same story that the Marvel shows are not dramatically helping in attracting new subscribers to the streaming platform.

The data from Parrot Analytics showed that all Marvel shows on Disney+ showed a similar demand trend. At its peak it showcases its impressive performance, reaching the top spot.

However, after which, these shows, namely, Loki, Moon Knight, Hawkeye, Wanda Vision, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, continuously declined in demand.

On top of that, Disney has already snatched other Netflix live-action Marvel series, such as Jessica Jones and Daredevil.
