According to a tweet by WhatsApp, there are some upcoming features for all users to enjoy, which would help give the public more to enjoy within the app, especially in the group chats and its offers. The features include muting people, messaging individuals privately, and showing that someone left the ongoing call via a banner.

All of these are available on its group call feature that allows instant communication among the users that are part of a particular team or set within the platform. It gives more information to its users and more access to the host or admin of the group chat, with the company focusing on features available to other communication apps.

WhatsApp's Latest Features are Like Zoom, Others

According to Engadget, the feature allows people to know the little things, and it gives better access to the application and its use for their needs. These features already exist among video conferencing apps like Zoom or Microsoft Teams, which allow people to learn more information from others and avoid any confusion among the participants.

It still has massive coverage and userbase despite its many disputes and distrust from the public, with doubts about Meta's data access within the app.

The application recently had a Summer update that brought different features for users to enjoy, focusing on WhatsApp's progression for its continued use and service to the public. It includes the Android emojis, more prominent groups, and group chat features, including leaving the group without making a fuss among its members. 

Users are now seeing more features on the WhatsApp application, which brings the public more reasons to stay and use the instant messaging platform despite the many doubts regarding its data access. Future updates aim to get better accessibility and control of the application, especially in group settings that are still massive in the country.
