The Suicide Squad movie is more than a year away, but as expected, the Internet is already overflowing with crazy rumors. However, the latest one of many more to come, comes off as very interesting and could be the real deal.

While some of the latest rumors making the rounds in blogs, forums and websites range from totally believable to outright outrageous, keep in mind that unconfirmed reports from anonymous sources need to be taken with a grain of salt. Latino Review has posted a healthy number of movie rumors in the past and some of them were eventually confimed. However, caution is advised and proceed at your own risk.

According to sources that spoke with Latino Review, the 2016 Suicide Squad movie will help to link the DC Cinematic Multiverse together. The likes of Batman (Ben Affleck) and Lex Luthor (Jessie Eisenberg) are expected to be mentioned in the film, Luthor more so than Batman.

The movie begins with Deadshot (Will Smith) making a move against an inmate in Arkham. Interestingly enough, Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) is also making a move on Arkham on the same night. Apparently, she's out to free The Joker (Jared Leto). However, everything came crashing down after both Deadshot and Harley collide and caused a shutdown of the whole prison.

Both were captured and transferred to Belle Reve prison, where Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) is warden.

According to the source, The Joker was also brought to Belle Reve to ensure the cooperation of Harley Quinn. In no time, Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney) was brought into fray, and all were forced to become members of Task Force X aka Suicide Squad.

The first mission has the team making a move against an asset wanted by Lex Luthor. The asset was described as a bio weapon, but the team later realized that this weapon is actually a human being. This human being is Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), but she was found in the body of a child, interestingly enough.

It would make sense for Lex Luthor to make a move to gain Enchantress because she is a super villain with magical powers. Now, bear in mind that one of Superman's weakness is magic, so the whole thing makes sense.

When it comes down to Rick Flagg, he is considered as a government agent who is only there to oversee Waller. He later betrays her, but it is not certain in which manner.

So far, we are pleased with this information dump, but as we've said above, don't get too excited.
