Apple is hyping up the iPhone 14, saying that it will come with a battery life that could last all day. The upcoming smartphone is said to have up to 80 hours of audio playback compared to the iPhone 13, which was only capable of 75 hours of audio playback.

According to the story by CNet, the iPhone 14 lineup by Apple will be launching with a notable improvement, its battery life. The fall product event that just recently launched, as detailed in an article by CNBC, saw Apple announce that both the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro lineups will be including "all day" battery life.

The company stated that the type of battery life that will now be available in the iPhone 14 Plus previously only came with the iPhone Pro Max models. To add, this means that the latest lineup will be offering a few minutes more in terms of battery life compared to the iPhone 13 series.

Battery Life of the Apple Devices Depends on What the Owners Use the Phones For

Battery life can reportedly change depending on what the owners use their phones for. This means that the results of how long the battery will last will still depend on what the user is doing with the device.

The information regarding the battery of the new devices on Apple's website suggests that users will be able to watch more video and even listen to the audio for longer periods on the iPhone 14 compared to previous models.

iPhone 14 will Come Out with 20 Hours of Video Playback

The company announced that the iPhone 14 will be coming with 20 hours of video playback compared to the iPhone 13, which offers just 19 hours of video playback. The iPhone 14 is also capable of 16 hours of streamed video playback compared to the 15 hours of the iPhone 13.

iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max were All Tested in 2021

CNet reportedly did a battery test in 2021 where they tried to play a looped video on airplane mode with the screen's brightness at half for the iPhone 13. With this experiment, they were able to see the iPhone 13 Pro lasting 22 hours and 2 minutes.

The same experiment was also tried with the iPhone 13 Pro Max, which saw its battery lasting for a whopping 31 hours and 19 minutes. With that, Apple will be selling the iPhone 14 at a starting price of $799, with the larger iPhone 14 Plus being sold at $899.
