Amazon is upgrading its Ring Spotlight Cam gets a Pro version with new features. These features include 3D Motion Radar as well as Bird's Eye View.

Amazon Ring and Blink Brands Will be Launching with an Upgraded Version

According to the story by PC Mag, Amazon's Ring and Blink brands will reportedly have a lot of different ways for users to keep tabs on their packages. The upgrades will also allow them to see if there are people around the yard.

The Ring Spotlight Cam will be getting a pro version along with added Radar-based 3D Motion Detection which was also found on pro versions of other devices. The feature was already available on the Ring Video Doorbell as well as the Floodlight Cam.

Ring Spotlight Cam Pro Gets an Added Bird-S Eye View Feature

As per the article, the feature will help the devices capture how people approach or when certain individuals wander around the property. This lets them set what was described as a "specific threshold of when you want your camera to start detecting motion" as per Ring.

Should the devices sense that there is someone nearby, users will be able to start recording and an alert will be sent directly to the mobile device of the owner. The Ring Spotlight Cam Pro will also include the Bird's Eye View feature which brings an areal map of where certain visitors go when they are on the users' property.

Live View is Also Accessible with the Ring Protect Plan

Users will be able to see the visitors via gray dots that show their path. Users will be able to view the feed on either Live View or Event History as long as they have the Ring Protect Plan.

The Pro is available for pre-order including the battery, plug-in as well as solar versions which are set to launch on October 26. Users will have to sign up in order to get a notification regarding the wired version.
