A new animated short film was released by Blizzard to formally introduce Overwatch 2's newest character.

"Overwatch 2 Animated Short | Kiriko"
During the TwitchCon opening day, Blizzard presented an animated short cinematic dedicated to its newest hero, Kiriko. Based on a report from The Verge, the nine-minute film's purpose is to properly introduce the hero formally to the game's fans.
The story started when both characters were arguing as the hero has found her independence after moving out from her family home. A deaf child was also present in the cinematic which showcased Kiriko's skill in American Sign Language (ASL).
The ASL scene was very heartwarming, especially since an Overwatch fan named Danik Soudakoff went viral for creating ASL signs for the heroes of the game, as Kotaku reported.
Kiriko's Abilities
The abilities and power of Kiriko were seen during the cinematic. As per Comic Book's report, Kiriko demonstrated her powers as loan sharks started attacking the old maintenance worker. In this scene, she uses her throwables, agility, and teleportation skills to fight the antagonists of the story.
Her healing abilities were also seen as she needed to revive the maintenance worker who was shot. During the fight scene, her theme song Bow by MFS was also playing in the background.

Free Skins and Weapons
As a celebration of the newly added hero and the launch of Overwatch 2, Blizzard will be giving Kiriko skins, weapons, and other cosmetics by watching the game on Twitch. The company stated on its website, "To celebrate the launch of Overwatch 2, we'll be giving away a Legendary Sukajan Kiriko skin, a Razor Sharp spray for Kiriko, and a Donut Weapon Charm via Twitch Drops!"
These will be obtained by the fans for two-time windows. Players will be needing to stream in the Overwatch 2 category on Twitch for two hours total between October 7 at 2:00 p.m. PDT and October 16 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. Through this, Kiriko's voice line will be earned. For the Legendary Sukajan Kiriko Skin, an additional four hours was needed for this to earn.
Meanwhile, the Razor Sharp Kiriko Spray will be earned by watching any stream in the Overwatch 2 category on Twitch for two hours between October 17 at 11:00 a.m. PDT and October 24 at 12:00 a.m. PDT. An additional three hours will be needed for the Donut Weapon Charm.

3. Click Connect next to Twitch and follow the instructions
