Big casting news for the X-Men franchise. Director Bryan Singer has announced the three young actors who will portray three of the most recognizable mutants from the series in the next chapter of the film franchise, X-Men: Apocalypse.

The roles of Cyclops, Storm, and Jean Grey will be taken over by three relatively newcomers in the movie industry. 18-year old Tye Sheridan, who earned rave reviews in Mud; Alexandra Shipp, who has extensive background in daytime TV; and the actress whose name is already a household favorite, Sophie Turner from Game of Thrones, respectively.

Singer took to Twitter to confirm the big news.

While many GOT fans are definitely squealing with excitement over the choice of casting none other than poor Sansa Stark in the role originated by Famke Janssen, we can't help but think that Sophie Turner herself had the best reaction ever.

Turner, along with Sheridan and Shipp, will be joining the likes of Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), James McAvoy (Professor X), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), and Nicholas Hoult (Beast).

The mutants will be facing off against the villain from the 1990's story line of the X-Men comic books, Apocalypse, who will be played by Oscar Isaac.

Fans will have to wait in anticipation before Turner will appear on the silver screen as Jean Grey when X-Men: Apocalypse finally opens in theatres on May 27, 2016.

In the meantime, she returns to the role that everybody loves to hate as Sansa Stark in the fifth season of HBO's Game of Thrones in April.

Turner will also appear alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Jessica Alba in the upcoming film, Barely Lethal.
