A new Samsung Galaxy S10 software update started rolling out to its users nearly four years after the Android flagship device debuted in 2019.

Despite the age of the Galaxy S10, it looks like Samsung is still working to keep its mobile device updated.

The new update reportedly brings a couple of improvements that level up the whole experience of its users.

So if you are still clinging to your Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10e, you are set to see improvements in its camera and overall stability.

Samsung Galaxy S10's New Update Starts Rolling Out to Users in Europe

As per the latest report by Sam Mobile, the South Korean phone maker dished out a new firmware update to its 2019 flagship mobile device.

The news outlet notes that its S10 devices recently received a security update, which brings fixes that the October 2022 patch brings.

Shortly after the release of the October 2022 security update, the renowned phone maker is rolling out a new software update.

However, it is worth noting that the latest firmware release is only available to Samsung S10 series users across Europe. The new version sports the G97xFXXUGHVJ5 firmware version. Given that, if you are looking to update your device, the latest release comes in this version number.

But if you are from Switzerland, Galaxy S10 5G users are also getting their hands on a new update. It rocks the firmware version G977BXXUDHVJ5.

What to Expect from Galaxy S10 Update

It turns out that the latest firmware release takes up some storage. According to a news story by GSM Arena, the update is roughly 1 gigabyte (GB). But that already includes the October security patch for some users.

However, besides the security fixes, the latest software release brings new improvements for the 2019 Android phone.

Even if it is almost four years since it saw the light of day, Samsung still improves its cameras and Bluetooth connection. The update improves the stability of the two.

And on top of that, it also refines the overall stability of the S10 series mobile devices.

How to Download New Firmware Update

Sam Mobile notes in its report that the new software release should automatically reach S10 users. It should notify them to install the latest update.

However, users can also manually update their phones. They could go to the Settings app to select the "Software update" section. From there, they could "Download and install" the latest release.
