Palera1n Team Unveils Jailbreak Tool For iOS 15, 16: List of Devices Affected by checkm8 Exploit

Jailbreaking gains popularity to users who can't bypass certain apps on a specific platform. For instance, some iPhone owners could not access third-party software due to restrictions from Apple.

According to the latest report by 9to5Mac, a group of jailbreakers has released the newest tool that will help users modify the iOS 15 and 16. With palera1n jailbreak, they can now sideload apps on the most recent mobile operating system.

By jailbreaking, you can ignore the system restrictions and have a wider control on your device. According to iDownloadBlog, this process modifies the read-and-write mechanisms of the root filesystem on your smartphone. Commonly, Apple does not allow the users from accessing it.

Going back to the newest tool, the palera1n team created a jailbreak app that is reportedly based on the checkm8 exploit. 9to5Mac reports that it is "unpatchable" because you can only find it from the "bootrom" of A5 and latest Bionic chips.

While the Cupertino giant has the power and resources to prevent this exploit, they don't have any means to do that on the outdated devices.

With this newly-launched jailbreak tool, users can now explore iOS 15 and iOs 16 without any limits. At the time, the hackers did not mention if it will also work for iOs 16.3 beta.
