According to the story by Giz China, Honor has just released their latest addition to the world of tablets. The Honor Pad V8 Pro is a powerful tablet designed for media consumption and equipped with groundbreaking features that make it stand out from its competitors.
The Pad V8 Pro is outfitted with a 12.1-inch IPS LCD screen with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels of resolution, 10-bit color depth, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and a 144 Hz refresh rate, the first of its kind in a tablet.

It is also the first tablet to be IMAX Enhanced certified and will allow users to access content with IMAX standards without hassle. Additionally, it's equipped with eight speakers and support for DTS:X surround to enhance the media-consumption experience further.

Buyers can see the device on Hi Honor website along with its specs in terms of chips, screen resolution, and other features. One notable feature is the Honor Magic-Pencil 3 and the MagicOS 7.0.
On the hardware side, the Pad V8 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC, a powerful chipset that gives it the performance of a flagship model. It comes in three variants, with 8 GB/128 GB, 8 GB/256 GB, and 12 GB/256 GB RAM and storage, respectively. As for cameras, the tablet features a 13 MP f/2.0 main camera and a 5 MP selfie camera with fixed focus.

The Device Comes with an 10,050 mAh Battery and 35W Charging Support
On the back, the Pad V8 Pro has a huge 10,050 mAh battery with support for 35 W charging. It runs Android 12 with Magic UI 7.0, and is also compatible with a magnetic keyboard and an active stylus pen, alleviating some productivity tasks. It is available in three colors, Grey, Blue, and Orange, with a faux leather finish for the latter.
The Honor Pad V8 Pro comes with prices ranging from CNY 2,599 ($375) for the 8 GB/128GB variant to CNY 3,299 ($475) for the 12GB/256GB variant. The tablet is available for pre-order in China, with actual sales opening on December 30, but there's no word on international availability yet.
Since there is still no word as to when the device will be available internationally, buyers will have to wait for an official announcement from the company.
