"League of Legends" is best known for its cinematics that add more depth to what it aims to push for a certain season or event, but the recent "Brink of Infinity" this 2023 is not a smash hit for gamers. It seems that this is also something that Riot Games have felt with what it gave, and addressed this issue with a recent statement.

The developers claimed that they will try better for the next releases and that they would make this up via their content to arrive throughout the year.

Gamers who watched the latest "League of Legends" cinematic content which details its plans for this 2023 season were either underwhelmed or disappointed with what they saw.

And Riot Games released a Twitter thread about it, saying that they heard what gamers say about its latest offers, and acknowledged their shortcomings for this year.

In Riot's words, the cinematic "missed the mark" for the expectations of gamers, which in previous releases, features action-packed and champion-led content.

The goal is to bring better content through the year to make up for what occurred in early 2023 for the company and its game, especially with what the community has been saying about it.

Riot Games Promises to be More Open to its Community

According to Riot, it should have been more open in terms of communicating with the public regarding what they want, expect, and hope to see from the game. It would also let the public know more about what is in store for the MOBA game in the coming weeks and months of 2023, with upcoming announcements in the coming days.

The 'League of Legends' Franchise

From its early beginnings in 2009 which gamers warmly accepted, down to the many changes in the MOBA that essentially changed the way people play in the League, Riot's global franchise is a renowned game in the industry.

In 2023, there are massive plans for Riot to make "League of Legends" more newbie-friendly, with features like automatic rune pages, skill level-up suggestions, and other assistive additions.

Some gamers prefer the old style and gameplay in the MOBA, with the previous reworks and changes essentially transforming the game. This 2023, there are still a lot more in store, but not all are approved by its long-time fans.

Apart from its games, Riot also engages with the community with many offers like events, tournaments, and fan services like its development of cinematic content. The Brink of Infinity is not a massive hit for gamers, and Riot acknowledged that fact and sympathized with what the gamers felt with their output, wanting to make up for its future releases.
