New "League of Legends" skins for Valentine's Day have been confirmed by Riot Games.

The new Heartache and Heartthrob skins will surely excite many gamers, especially since the popular lesbian couple; Caitlyn and Vi.

To celebrate the new Heartache skins of Vi and Caitlyn, Riot Games posted a picture of the two champions in what seems to be a university hallway.

As of writing, the game publisher's Twitter announcement has already garnered over 62,000 likes, 2,600 quote tweets, and 9,100 retweets.

New 'League of Legends' Heartache, Heartthrob Skins

Riot Games announced the new Heartache and Heartthrob skins on Jan. 25.

These new character cosmetics are just a part of the game creator's Valentine's Day theme for "League of Legends," as reported by SportsKeeda.

This means that there will be more Valentine's Day-themed content in the Summoner's Rift.

The new Heartache and Heartthrob skins are expected to arrive as early as Feb. 8, seven days before the official Valentine's Day holiday.

Aside from Caitlyn and Vi, one lucky hero will receive Valentine's Day-themed skin.

This one may seem odd to some players since Amumu is considered to be a lonely hero. However, Riot Games decided to give this cute character his own Heartthrob skins.

'League of Legends' Couples

Since Valentine's Day is just a few days away, you should know who are the couples in the Summoner's Rift. 

Many players are unaware of this because they don't read the lores of "LoL" champions. 

This is reasonable since it will take time if you will read all the character lores in the Summoner's Rift. 

To save you time, Early Game provided all the couples in "League of Legends." These include the following: 

• Caitlyn and Vi
• Ashe and Tryndamere
• Twisted Fate and Graves
• Lux and Ezreal
• Tristana and Rumble
• Garen Katarina
• Leona and Diana
• Sett and Aphelios
• Senna and Lucian
• Rakan and Xayah

Aside from new skins, Riot Games also launched other in-game enhancements recently. 

These include the upcoming "League of Legends" Darkin assassin. 

Thanks to the efforts made by Riot Games, "League of Legends" is expected to be newbie friendly this 2023.
