Alauda Aeronautics, the creators of the famous Airspeeder, is now gunning for the Olympics in nine years, a stage where the team aims to enter and showcase their flying electric race car, as per ABC News. There are already different eVTOLs in the world, and they showcase accessibility and a new transportation method for all.

However, the Airspeeder is different, as it is built for the extreme environment and a fast-paced platform, where it can zoom past obstacles and show its maneuverability to the world.

Airspeeder's Flying Electric Car is a World's First

According to the company, this is the first flying electric race car in the world, mainly because it centers on performance and new speeds compared to other developments already debuted by different companies.

While others center on luxury and ease to transport from point A to B, the Airspeeder is built for the adrenaline-pumping experience of zooming past competitors and going the fastest from one place to another.

Flying Cars: Is It the Future?

People are accustomed to driving vehicles around on roads and different terrains, but there are not yet enough flying cars available in the world, more particularly, those now available commercially. Many companies are developing electric flying cars, one that can take on the skies and zoom vehicles above traffic, with many eVTOLs already in production.

However, there is an iconic creation from Alef, and it is called the Model A Prototype which is still a work in progress as of the moment.

It centers on a driveable car that people may use on the roads, but the special thing about it is it can transform and reveal the wings needed for its vertical flights, one that people can use to get to destinations in different heights.

Of course, flying cars are still in development, and only those with special skills and certification may be able to drive them for now, should they be available soon. In this current age, technology is offering many developments, even those straight from people's imaginations or fantasies, especially one which aims to join the Olympics in the future.
