"League of Legends" features a new visual rework for two of its most famous Champions in the roster, with the attack and jungle monk, Lee Sin, and the famous Yordle scout, Teemo. It is high time for Riot Games to turn its attention to the famous characters of the earlier seasons to have their much-awaited new looks in the game.

These two are some of the game's oldest characters in history, and despite being around for a long time, this is the only period where these characters will be given the ASUs they were promised long ago.

"League of Legends" executive producer Jeremy "Riot Brightmoon" Lee and head of League Studios, Andrei "Meddler" van Roon, announced that the Age and Sustainability Update for old characters is trying to ramp up its efforts.

The producer and head claimed that it lagged behind these ASUs for its famed Champions, but will pick up the pace to deliver what gamers look for in the MOBA.

Lee said that it is focusing on two iconic League champions, Lee Sin and Teemo, which the executives teased in their announcement.

The team said that they have been focused on debuting new Champions for the game, which will soon see a tradeoff to prioritize old and existing ones.

The executive producer said that more ASUs are coming to older Champions in the League, and there is a massive list for those that await their visual rework in the game.

The tradeoff which van Roon mentioned in the video means that there would be fewer new Champions coming to the League, to focus on the old releases for their age and sustainability updates.

According to ComicBook Gaming, there are new character models to expect in the first half of the year, and later.

'League of Legends' and Riot Games

Riot may be certainly called "Rito" again for lagging in its development of the famous characters which missed out on their visual and in-game tweaks, after prioritizing others in the past releases. The company usually tests most of its new updates in the game via the "League of Legends" PBE (Public Beta Environment), which excites most of its gamers.

There were many changes in Riot Games' famous multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, and it includes the characters' nerfs and buffs, as well as how players experience the Summoners' Rift.

According to reports, Riot wants to invite more players to the game, and so makes it more "newbie-friendly" by simplifying certain aspects of the MOBA.

While there are only two legacy characters that saw a visual rework and ASU in the past, with Piltover's sheriff and sharpshooter, Caitlyn, and the nine-tailed fox, Ahri, Riot wants to do better now. Lee Sin and Teemo are two of the game's most distinguishable and iconic characters that would soon debut in the new age of the game.
