Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment brought gamers another treat for its upcoming AAA-rated sequel game, "Star Wars Jedi: Survivor," with a new pre-order DLC bonus. This latest revelation will bring a special homage to Obi-Wan Kenobi, one of the most famous and powerful Jedis in existence, featuring a cosmetic pack inspired by him.

Sadly, this does not mean that Obi-Wan is confirmed for the game, despite it heavily revolving around the time Jedis are hunted, and like Cal Kestis, Kenobi is also in hiding.

EA announced on Twitter that there is a new pre-order bonus DLC available to gamers, and it is the Obi-Wan Kenobi costume for Cal Kestis to wear. All the accompanying accessories will be available to use, claims the company, including Obi-Wan's lightsaber and blaster that were shown in the famous Disney+ series of the same name.

The developers call this the "Jedi Survival" costume which features modified Jedi robes, as well as goggles to protect from the sand.

The cosmetic pack highly suggests the possibility of Obi-Wan Kenobi appearing in the game, but take this with a grain of salt as nothing is still revealed by EA or Respawn.

Should You Get the Deluxe Edition from EA?

"Star Wars Jedi: Survivor" is now available for pre-order on EA's website, as well as other retailers who will carry the game.

There are two versions available, including the Deluxe Edition and the Standard Edition, but will feature different freebies for gamers.

While both Standard and Deluxe will feature the Jedi Survival cosmetic pack of Obi-Wan, the two other costumes included in the pre-order will be exclusive to the Deluxe Edition.

The Deluxe Edition comes with the Galactic Hero and New Hero cosmetic packs, alongside the Jedi Survival a.k.a. the Hermit, Scoundrel, and Rebel Hero costumes and items for $89.99.

'Star Wars Jedi: Survivor' is Coming

"Star Wars Jedi: Survivor" is a highly-anticipated game in the industry now, especially as it continues the story of the famed young Jedi trying to make it in the galaxy. Initially, there were rumors that the game would release by 2022, but its creators confirmed that it will arrive by 2023, due to significant delays in its development.

The good thing about the "Star Wars Jedi" series is that its actor, behind the character of Cal Kestis, Cameron Monaghan, is up for further adaptations of his role. It points towards live-action films or series behind the saga, or a possibility of a future game to complete the series' trilogy from EA and Respawn.

Many people are excited about this upcoming sequel of Kestis' story, especially with a massive cliffhanger from the game released in 2019.

The game is coming in less than two months, and this puts significant hype behind what EA and Respawn have to offer in this sequel continuing the young Jedi's story. The Deluxe Edition's DLC comes with a pre-order bonus of a cosmetic kit from one of the most famous Jedis in existence, with Kestis donning Obi-Wan's famous costume from his Disney+ series.
