Every game starts out with weaker enemies. It's a training device: players are still unfamiliar with how the game works, so the developers throw generally ineffective, weaker troopers at players so they aren't immediately overwhelmed. It's not a universal choice - some games start off with a bang, while others use weaker enemies throughout the entire game - but generally speaking, if you're at the very beginning of a game, you'll be running into some softballs.

So, there are hundreds of games out there with weak enemies, but which ones are the best? Despite being an absolute breeze to annihilate, there are some enemies out there that players never get tired of stomping on. There's a litany of non-threatening enemies out there, and it'd be a pain to go through and make a list of the best.

Thankfully, Rooster Teeth already did it:

Let's be honest, it's a good list. Glass Joe is an absolute pushover, slimes are nothing but a nuisance and goombas are basically just fodder for Mario's boot.

The list is pretty all-encompassing, but there's one omission that sticks out: Rooster Teeth is a company that's known for creating a series based on and created with Halo...so how did they forget to include the Grunts? They're literally worthless, unless you happen to run into one that's holding a Fuel Rod Cannon.

Then again, goombas are known to walk off of cliffs on a regular basis...alright, maybe Grunts aren't the worst, but they certainly deserved a spot on the list.
