The latest laptop from Samsung, the Galaxy Book3, has a nifty feature available to users to control Android smartphones using the computer's keyboard, mouse, and clipboard. This is called the "Multi-Control" function, which extends the laptop's built-in peripherals over to smartphones that bring significant accessibility to both devices.

Galaxy Book 3's latest feature will let you keep your hands on your PC while accessing your smartphone without connecting the other devices wirelessly, which is helpful for busy people.

Samsung Galaxy Book3: Multi-Control Feature for Android

Samsung offers a unique experience for the Galaxy Book3 series, which no other Windows computer delivers without third-party apps deliver the same experience. The Multi-Control feature is a built-in feature that allows users to use the computer's peripherals to access their smartphone and use its control whenever it is nearby.

The company already announced this alongside the launch in early February, but for those unfamiliar, this is a great time to start, especially when you own an Android device.

It is similar to the Universal Control offered by the macOS, but it is not limited to Android tablets only, unlike the Mac and iPad exclusivity, as this is also available for smartphones, but it would depend on operating system eligibility.

How to Control your Android Phones using Galaxy Book3

The first thing a user needs is to download the Multi-Control application from the Galaxy Store for their mobile devices. Next, log in using the same Samsung account for both devices, PC and phone alike, to connect it. Also, enable both WiFi and Bluetooth on your Android smartphone.

On the Galaxy Book3, go to Settings, and head to Connected Devices. Scroll down and look for Multi-Control and enable it.

The laptop should detect similar Samsung accounts logged in to connect both smartphones and PCs. Users could also switch positions from left to right, depending on their preference.

Samsung's Latest Releases this 2023

Earlier this February, the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event took place to deliver the latest updates the South Korean company has in store for the world. One of the main focuses of Samsung for this year as well as its integration with Matter for smart home devices, saw a strengthened approach for its technology to control. The application called Smart Things is now available for iOS and Android, and it also brings over the Smart Things Station, which poses as a hub for connecting all the smart home tech, as well as a wireless charging hub.

The Galaxy Book3 is a series of Samsung releases featuring three computers with different focuses, including the Pro version, Ultra for gaming, and 360 for the creatives. Apart from its numerous offers and features is the built-in feature available to all laptops called the Multi-Control, which allows users to connect their smartphones for the ultimate experience.
