John Cena and His Media Appearances

John Cena has been a fan favorite since he joined WWE in 2002, known for being one of its most iconic wrestlers in the league, the Marine with a mission to win the heavyweight title. However, since his fame in pop culture and media, he has been a part of other games and media appearances in the industry, including the "Suicide Squad" movie in 2021 as Peacemaker.

Cena also gained fame when Nintendo tapped him as a promoter of the famous portable gaming console, the Switch, with his video showing him playing "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild." The ad shows Cena's soft spot, as opposed to his massive physique and appearance in the WWE as the tough soldier and commando.

"Fortnite" was also previously rumored to create a skin for John Cena in the game, bringing the wrestler to the famous island, and giving a smackdown to opponents.

With John Cena's fame and relevance in the popular culture industry, he is bound to see more adaptations of himself in different games, as exhibited by "Fortnite." This is now true with "PGA Tour 2K23's" recent announcement of The Hustle Loyalty and Respect Soldier of WWE, setting down his cargo shorts and bright-colored shirts for fancy golf attire and clubs.
