Snapchat My AI ChatGPT Integration Expands to All Users, Live Location Sharing Also Arrives

Snapchat is now introducing a platform where all users may access its My AI for free, without any subscriptions under the company's Snapchat+ to get the ChatGPT integration experience. Alongside this, the multimedia-centric social app also adds a live location-sharing feature available for the global public to share amongst friends and circles.

The My AI feature has been available for some time but was initially launched behind a paywall to bring users a chatbot experience to elevate its features, now having it available globally.

Snapchat announced that it is expanding the My AI feature to all users, and will no longer keep it behind a paid subscription required to access the chatbot for their needs. The company said that this will now be available globally and would be accessible for free, centering on ChatGPT's features expanding to the app.

MyAI's features are also adding more experiences to users including:

Personalize MyAI - redesign your AI to a custom Bitmoji and personalize the experience.
Bring My AI into Conversations with Friends - My AI may now provide you insights on the group chats with friends by mentioning it on the chatbox with @ function. Sparkles will appear next to its name to know it has joined the chat.
Snapchat Recommendations - ask the AI chatbot to give you a piece of its mind to get suggestions for places in the Snap Map and Lenses.
Share Snaps with My AI - no one to send a Snap to? Snapchat allows you to have My AI see your many snaps to start a conversation.
Watch It Snap You Back - Snapchat+ may soon receive Snapbacks from My AI with generative content.

Live Location Sharing Also Arrives for Snapchat

In a separate release under SPS 2023, Snapchat also announces new features like the After Dark stories that will bring you up to speed from Snaps sent the night and debrief you on what happened before. Moreover, the company is also updating the Snap Map to feature live location sharing for your friends and family, with public landmarks appearing in 3D figures that enhance the experience.
