Vivo is among the companies that, although still competing on the high-end models, has also focused more of its resources on mid-tier models as well. Now, the company is said to have a new S series for its iQOO 11 line after documents were spotted.
Vivo iQOO 11 Series Would be Getting an S Model
According to the story by GSM Arena, the Vivo iQOO 11 series would reportedly be expanding as it gets another addition to its lineup. The new model would reportedly be packing "S" in its name to make it unique.
The new gadget would reportedly come with a Dimensity 9300 chipset, which already makes the device different compared to some other models. These other models include the 11 Pro, which has been confirmed to use a different chipset.
It was noted that its 3C listing confirms the charging would be the same. This comes as the Vivo iQOO 11S has secured a certification with 200W charging, as reported by Gizmo China, which matches the current flagship of the brand.
The Device Comes with 200W Charging, Faster than the Standard 30W or 50W Options
The 200W charging, while still new technology, has started to see integration into more devices as smartphone companies are adapting this feature in many mid-tier models. This feat would allow users to charge their devices way faster than the conventional 30W or 50W charging.
The new smartphone is expected to come with the model number V2304A and will be coming out with the V200100A0L0-CN charger, as also noted by My Smart Price. This would provide users with max outputs of 20V/10A, which is already being used in another existing model.
The type of charger that the S variant would come with would be the same as the one used in the iQOO 11 Pro. As for the 11 Pro, the charger is automatically included in the buyer's purchase and ships out immediately within the box.
The Device is Also Considered a 'Power Delivery' Model
The device has also achieved being USB-PD compliant. This means that the iQOO 11S is considered one of the Power Delivery devices that can get fast charging, although still unlikely that it would achieve the full 200W speed, which was revealed in the certification.
The Vivo iQOO 11S was no stranger to leaks, as before the certification, there were already many rumors as to what the upcoming device might be packing. The leaks included possible colors, suggesting it would come in Mint Green with fake leather back.
The Device is Rumored to Come in Mint Green, which was Already Available for the iQOO 11 and iQOO 11 Pro
The color option that was previously leaked is a variant that is already available with the iQOO 11 and the iQOO 11 Pro. So far, fans would have to wait for the official announcement regarding the device's color options.
Now that the Vivo iQOO 11 S has been certified, it might just be a short time before the company officially reveals other specs and what the upcoming device is set to pack.
