After massive hype last year, the "Fortnite" x "Doctor Who" crossover is not yet here, and not only that, the leaked special content faces a delay on its speculated arrival. Epic Games is best known for its iconic collaborations with many of pop culture's favorite shows and names, including the long-running BBC sci-fi television show.
The previous leaks have also no confirmed appearances or content yet, with the crossover remaining in the dark for gamers and fans of both media franchises.

According to FNBR Intel via Twitter, the Fortnite x Doctor Who collaboration is now facing delays for its supposed arrival on the game. This is because Fortnite and Epic Games are focusing on another crossover that will bring LEGO to the famous online multiplayer.
The Doctor Who crossover got no dates from its leaks before.
According to the leaker, Fortnite will prioritize its crossover with LEGO which will soon arrive by November this year. This puts the Doctor Who collaboration at a later time, but without any speculated or leaked the release date for gamers.
Gamers are anticipating that Doctor Who would be a special Christmas release, but there is still no concrete evidence regarding this at the present.

Will We Still Get to See Doctor Who?

ComicBook Gaming claimed that Doctor Who is unlike other collaborations that need to be prioritized first. The most recent one was Transformers, and it joined alongside the release of "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts," which is why it was released first.
The leaker still believes that this crossover would just be pushed aside, but not entirely gone, as the 11th doctor said, "I am and always will be the optimist. The hoper of far-flung hopes, and the dreamer of improbable dreams."
Fortnite and Doctor Who
Fortnite is best known for bringing other gaming franchises, characters, movies, television shows, and more to its world, introducing them to the Battle Island that connects gamers. Some of the most recent collaborations it had were with CAPCOM, particularly with Resident Evil which arrived on the battle royale before, but this time, with new skins.
Anime also has a special place in Fortnite as the most recent centers on "Dragon Ball Super," bringing famed characters from the beloved Japanese media to the game.
Who could forget Fortnite's special collaboration on different occasions and timelines with two of the most famous comic book companies, Marvel and DC, to the game?
Despite the many collaborations already, Fortnite and Epic Games are not stopping there, as more characters and crossovers are seen in what it has to offer. The leaks surrounding Doctor Who ignited the fandom to await its arrival on Fortnite, but several months later, news of its crossover faces bad news, with a delay due to prioritizing other collabs first.
