The latest story trailer for "Marvel's Spider-Man 2" was released by Insomniac Games and PlayStation, but apart from the compelling plot and what to expect, gamers noticed something brewing for the new game. This is the larger role of Mary Jane Watson, the renowned partner of the man behind the mask, Peter Parker, and has stealth missions like before.
As much as players loved Insomniac's massive storytelling and immersive experience with the Spider-Men, gamers loathed playing Mary Jane, especially as she possessed no powers and was a challenging part of the game.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 would not be a standalone game as much as one expects, as it incorporates the infamous villains that need the power of both Spider-Men to defeat. However, it is not only that, as there is a possibility that Mary Jane would also play a larger role to help both the heroes in the story, as fans have noticed in the latest trailer.
Throughout the clip, Mary Jane was shown to have a valued voice in the game, speaking directly to both Miles and Peter in different scenes.
Also, the game highlighted a focus on MJ's character in separate moments, hinting at her large role in the next game.

That being said, gamers did not enjoy the MJ stealth missions in the original game, as they need to be quiet at all times despite the ludicrous obstacles, and having no powers to fight off the threats.

The trailer revealed a lot, and one is the introduction of Harry Osborn which may hint at the future of the Green Goblin and the Hobgoblin in the game. Also, it gave fans a deeper understanding of the upcoming challenges that both Spider-Men will face, externally and internally because of the presence of the symbiote.

Gamers loved the original 2018 release of Insomniac Games and PlayStation's original standalone PS4 title, Marvel's Spider-Man, being one of the best games of its time, despite it being a single-player. Its remake for the modern consoles and PC platform was also well-received by gamers, being one iconic release from the developers.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is coming later this Fall season, and gamers cannot wait for the expanding world of the Spider-Man franchise in the gaming industry, especially for PlayStation.
Insomniac's upcoming game is filled with anticipation and enthusiasm from gamers, especially as they get to see more of New York, as well as more menacing villains like Venom and Kraven the Hunter. However, one that they do not look forward to seeing is Mary Jane, particularly the focus the developers give her on stealth missions.
