AI Translation Solution: Multitood

Nick Vujicic, the founder of Life Without Limbs, told the Christian Post that around 65% of his 16 million social media followers do not speak English.  That prompted him to create Multitood, a customized video translation solution that seamlessly combines AI technology with human expertise.

Multitood leverages AI voice dubbing and translation tools, enabling churches and content creators to connect with audiences globally without language barriers.

The software can translate videos into over 36 languages, and it also includes features to add and edit subtitles and overlay natural-sounding voiceovers, effortlessly delivering content across the internet.

When discussing the potential of AI, Vujicic acknowledges that while AI has both positive and negative aspects, he expresses gratitude for its application in expanding the reach of the Kingdom.

The conventional dubbing process can be costly and time-consuming, with expenses ranging from $75 to $100 per minute. However, Vujicic's AI-based solution provides the same level of quality at just $10 per minute per language.

According to the report, churches that have adopted Multitood have received highly positive responses. This innovative solution is touted to be cost-effective, enabling seamless translation of sermons and podcasts into multiple languages, effectively reaching diverse communities worldwide.

Using Tech for Sharing the Gospel

Nick Vujicic strongly believes in the potential of technology as a potent instrument to advance the Gospel in today's interconnected digital era. He mentioned YouTube's recent support for multilingual audio files on select channels, allowing content creators to spread their messages to global audiences.

Since 2011, Vujicic has been dedicated to prioritizing the first 36 languages, encompassing approximately 85% of the world's population. He emphasizes the importance of utilizing existing technological tools for Kingdom purposes, recognizing their potential to create a significant impact.

Looking towards the future, Vujicic intends to focus more on production behind the camera while also being featured in some of the documentaries.

He firmly believes that harnessing the power of media and technology can empower believers to endure persecution and stand firmly in their faith in Jesus Christ.

"When we have the Great Commission to preach the Gospel to all nations and make disciples, it's more than just translating the Bible in a variety of languages. It's also equipping, encouraging and building the churches out there to be the hands and feet with digital content as well that they understand in their own language," he noted.
