After xQc joined streaming platform Kick with a contract worth $100 million, some fans have been wondering which next streamer would get such a big contract. While some fans thought renowned streamer Dr. Disrespect would get a huge offer as well, things might not turn as they seem.

Renowned Streamer Dr. Disrespect Was Removed From Twitch and the Reason Behind It Remains a Mystery

According to Dexerto, Dr. Disrespect can be considered one of the most popular YouTube streamers ever since he was banned from Twitch. While his removal from Twitch reportedly remains a mystery, the streamer is probably looking for a new place to stream.

Since the word broke out that Kick started to sign big names, many people have been wondering whether Dr. Disrespect would also be offered a massive deal to join the site. A whopping $100 million was paid to xQc to join Kick.

xQc Paid More Than LeBron James to Join Kick With a $100 Million Contract

In comparison, it was reported that LeBron James signed a $100 million contract to join the Los Angeles Lakers for two years. Specifically, the NBA star was offered a $99,023,228 contract, according to Spotrac.

After xQc got the deal from Kick, it seemed like Dr. Disrespect already had a price in his mind, as he requested $50 million to join the streaming platform. Although the CEO of Kick clarified that they were in talks with the team of Dr. Disrespect to get the deal done, nothing was finalized.

Could Dr. Disrespect Be Asking Too Much For a Deal Worth $50 Million to Join Streaming Platform Kick?

New information about why Kick might have thought Dr. Disrespect was asking for too much money has surfaced. Kick's Head of Product, Paulie Chianese, told Big E about whether the streamer would be seen on the platform.

Chianese revealed that Dr. Disrespect was asking for $50 million and wasn't playing around when asking for that amount. That means the streamer was very serious about the amount and that they would not be settling for anything less.

No Official News on Whether Dr. Disrespect Would Come to Streaming Platform Kick

Aside from asking for that amount, it was reported that Dr. Disrespect would continue to stream on YouTube despite being paid. Chianese then said that although he enjoyed Doc personally and watched him over the years, "50 million is 50 million."

According to Dexerto, based on the comments, Kick does not think the $50 million requested by Dr. Disrespect would be worth it. That means the streamer might not soon be going anywhere outside of YouTube.

Dr. Disrespect also previously revealed that his commitments and business ventures could also be factors affecting the potential deal. Currently, it is still unclear whether the deal will push through since Kick has not officially said if they will accept or reject it.
