According to the story by Digital Trends, an iPhone SE model was spotted selling at a massive discount, bringing its price down from almost $400 to just around $150. This applied to the 2022 model which is selling for a huge discount for Labor Day.
The device was spotted at this discounted price on Walmart, selling for just $149 from its original $379 listing. This meant a discount of $230 from its original discount but it also comes with a slight catch.

The iPhone SE 2022 model is reportedly Straight Talk locked but this might not be a hindrance for some people given how affordable the model now is. Although this particular model is smaller than most regular iPhones, it does come with some advantages.
As noted by Digital Trends, despite being small, the iPhone SE comes with "big advantages" and they considered it one of the best iPhones a person could buy, especially if buyers want the budget version of the device.
The Screen is a Retina HD Display Packed Into a 1334 x 750 Resolution
The device comes with a 4.7-inch Retina HD display packed into its 1334 x 750 resolution with the help of True Tone color technology by Apple. This ensures that despite the small device, the colors remain sharp and clear.
The article highlighted how the screen still feels small compared to some of the best smartphones available in the industry but it still comes with a 12MP wide camera and 7MP FaceTime HD camera while running on the classic iOS operating system.
The iPhone SE Packs an A15 Bionic Chip with iOS Capabilities
The device is also powered by the A15 Bionic chip making its iOS perform more efficiently. It was noted that users would also be able to record 4K videos with up to 60 fps while not worrying too much about damage due to its IP67 rating.
The Apple iPhone SE comes with up to 15 hours of battery life while also having 64 GB of storage space. According to the Apple website, the device starts at $429, which would mean the one listed on Walmart would give buyers a massive almost $300 discount.
