GoPro unveiled their latest action camera to the world, debuting the HERO12 Black which centers on a rugged and "ultra-versatile" camera experience for all. It still retains its small size while packing in its massive, impressive features that promise 2x longer runtime for its usage which it attributes to the redesigned power management system. 

It also comes with HDR video (high dynamic range), 5.3K and 4K resolution for its video, HyperSmooth 6.0 video stabilization, and new camera features.

One of the most impressive additions here is Bluetooth support for audio devices, with users also given a chance to connect their Apple AirPods to the device.

The HERO 12 Black also features a camera modification available, with its Max Lens Mod 2.0 accessory that offers a 177° field of view at 4K and 60fps.

GoPro's Action Cameras

GoPro had a triple release in 2022, featuring three action cameras that arrived from the company to bring the updates of the company to its renowned devices. First off, the company introduced the HERO 11, a successor to the HERO 10 which featured the same features and looks as the previous version. 

Alongside this device was its flagship and top-tier camera, the HERO 11 Black, with all of its 2022 releases featuring a larger sensor for the camera that can capture 10-bit color video, a new Ultra-Wide HyperView FOV, HyperSmooth 5.0 Video Stabilization, and a high-performance Enduro battery. 

While the HERO 11 was essentially upgraded HERO10, it still presented a great upgrade from its previous version, something that it changed for this year's release. 

Alongside this new action camera from the company, GoPro also introduced its new Quik Desktop App for subscribers, a software that will arrive by November.
