Gamers are already waiting for "Marvel's Spider-Man 2" video game, and its developer, Insomniac Games, is trying to keep the fire burning by recently posting Black Suit Spider-Man and Venom posters online.

The recent teaser shows both characters in monochromatic and mighty glory, showcasing more of the symbiote set to rock New York with terrors and menace.

It is widely known that Venom is one of the main villains coming to the game, but not much was unveiled on who will don the symbiote in the game.

'Marvel's Spider-Man 2' Reveals Venom, Spider-Man in Black Suit

While this news of Venom and Spider-Man in a black suit is no longer a surprise, it is undoubtedly a massive teaser to the upcoming game from Insomniac, who recently posted the posters via X.

In one of the posters, there is Peter Parker, who wears a black suit. It is known to comic fans as the most iconic suit that Spider-Man has worn.

In another post is Venom's poster, showing his menacing build, sharp teeth, talon-like nails, and long tongue. To date, it remains unknown who is behind Venom. In the canon of the Venom comics, Eddie Brock would be the first to don Venom (after possessing Parker), and then Scorpion, Flash Thompson, and other iterations.

However, a post-credits scene in the first game revealed that Norman Osborn kept his son, Harry, Peter Parker's best friend, inside a container with the symbiote, which seems to suggest that Harry would be Venom.

'Marvel's Spider-Man 2'

The anticipated sequel to PlayStation's Game of the Year in 2018, "Marvel's Spider-Man 2," was previously surrounded by leaks and speculations about when it would arrive, initially confusing gamers as to why it was not "Marvel's Spider-Man 3."

Yuri Lowenthal, the actor portraying Peter Parker in the famous Insomniac game, has confirmed it is coming out this year. Earlier this year, Lowenthal said the game was close to finishing, and it was up to Insomniac to complete it and release it to the world.

In December 2022, PlayStation, Sony, and Insomniac confirmed the sequel game, with some trailers released for the world to see. The first teaser featured Venom, which Insomniac Games explicitly revealed as the upcoming title's villain.

Others were then subsequently named, with Kraven the Hunter being one of the main baddies for both Spider-Men to face. The game's beta testing leaked another known character, Sin Eater, appearing in the early part.

Massive expectations are set for the upcoming sequel title, especially as Insomniac Games and PlayStation have set the bar high for this series with the first two releases. Insomniac has fueled the excitement in these latest posters' drop, featuring both Venom and Black Suit Spider-Man.
