Rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S24 series keep on coming as 2023's end inches closer. Previous reports claimed that the lineup would be released in early 2024, but recent leaks from @OnLeaks revealed interesting information about the Ultra and Plus models.

Leaked Specs of Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is quite similar to the S23 Ultra if you pay attention to its design. With the same set of layouts, you could mistake it for its predecessor.

According to TechRadar, the 6.8-inch display along with a quad-lens camera are only a few notable features that you will see right away with the upcoming flagship handset.

With regards to its battery, the leaker says that it has a 5,000mAh battery which offers 45W fast charging. It's quite the same thing that we have seen from S23.

Of course, Samsung has some distinct features that it will only launch in the 2024 smartphones. The South Korean tech giant could allegedly release new bezels for S24 Ulta which are believed to be "one of the narrowest seen on any smartphone."

Aside from that, slight variations in its dimensions and weight are expected. Specifically, it will be lighter than the S23 Ultra at 233 g. The latter weighs 234 g. The measurement of the S24 Ultra is tipped to be 162.3 x 79 x 8.7mm while the previous model has 163.4 x 78.1 x 8.9mm.

If Apple's iPhone 15 Pro Max shocked the fans with its titanium case, it might also be the case for the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Aesthetic Design of Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus, as shared by @OnLeaks in collaboration with GizNext, maintains the overall aesthetic of its predecessor, the S23 Plus. However, a keen eye will spot a slight repositioning of the camera flash and flatter sides.

According to the first leaked images of the Plus variant, it will be slightly bigger than its predecessor thanks to its 6.7-inch screen. It will also be taller than the S23 Plus at 163.4 x 78.1 x 8.9mm.

Battery Upgrades and Bright Displays

UniverseIce, another popular leaker from X, which is now Twitter, offers additional insights into the forthcoming Galaxy S24 series.

According to him, Samsung will roll out an improved battery for the Galaxy S24 Plus With a 4,900mAh battery. For reference, the S23 Plus only has a 4,300mAh battery.

The base S24 model is said to have a 4,000mAh battery. This improvement gives the upcoming variant a 100mAh boost. What's more, its peak screen brightness could potentially reach 2,500 nits which is far superior to the iPhone 15 series.
