Microsoft's latest blog post via Bing announced the arrival of DALL-E 3 to its Bing Chat, a service best known for its generative AI assistant to help search the web and gather information. In this integration, Microsoft promises that this will be available for free, and would not ask users of an extra fee or subscription to access the experience.

This was made available on Bing Chat, as well as the Bing Image Creator which leverages OpenAI's latest technology for the world to utilize in their creations.

In this version, Microsoft promises safety and better content moderation for all works, adding in an invisible digital watermark that would determine that it was AI-generated and additional details.

OpenAI and Microsoft

Microsoft served as one of the top and most important backers of OpenAI during its early days, and now the company is reaping the benefits of its developments in the different services it has. Among the latest introductions of new AI-powered products from OpenAI and Microsoft, one of its most impressive is the Windows Copilot, an approach to the computer OS with AI-assisted tech.

Back in late September, OpenAI delivered the updated generative AI, DALL-E 3, to the world, featuring the latest improvements and features that it has to offer. This centered on a new training that could better capture what a user has in mind, translating a user's ideas via prompts to better outputs, moving away from the traditional "prompt engineering" needs.

The best of both Microsoft and OpenAI's technology now is mashing up their AI systems together, offering the world a chance to take advantage of the newfound power of its AI image generator. Now, users no longer need to venture into OpenAI's platform to experience DALL-E 3's capabilities, as it is integrated into Bing Chat and Bing Image Creator to access.
