Cybersecurity company Arctic Wolf has revealed plans to acquire Revelstoke, a firm known for developing a security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platform. 

Revelstoke's approach includes employing a Unified Data Layer, promising to revolutionize security automation, and streamlining operations for faster and more efficient outcomes. This acquisition aligns with Arctic Wolf's mission to fortify threat detection and response capabilities.

Arctic Wolf on Revelstoke's Security Automation

Nick Schneider, Arctic Wolf's CEO, expressed enthusiasm for Revelstoke's unique approach to security automation, emphasizing the potential to enhance the company's innovation cycle. 

The integration of Revelstoke's technology with Arctic Wolf's existing Security Operations portfolio is expected to result in a highly effective threat protection solution. 

"By combining Arctic Wolf's comprehensive Security Operations portfolio with Revelstoke's unique approach to security automation, we believe we will be able to accelerate our innovation cycle and will deliver the most effective threat protection on the market in an efficient and scalable manner," Schneider said.

Revelstoke's contribution is seen as a vital addition to Arctic Wolf's Security Operations Cloud, which already processes an impressive 4.5 trillion security events weekly for a global customer base of over 4,600. 

With Revelstoke's extensive range of integrations across various technology types, it's anticipated that hundreds of additional detection, automation, and response actions will be made available. 

Bob Kruse, CEO of Revelstoke, sees this partnership as a pivotal moment in the cybersecurity landscape. He commended Arctic Wolf's leadership in transforming the security operations market and expressed eagerness to see how their platform will impact customers worldwide.

Craig Robinson, IDC Research VP of Security Services, noted that security leaders are increasingly recognizing the potential of security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) to enhance operational efficiency in the face of growing cybersecurity threats. 

Robinson added that integrating SOAR into a broader Security Operations platform offers a comprehensive solution, reducing noise and improving efficiency.

Integration of Revelstoke's SOAR Platform Into Arctic Wolf

Through the integration of Revelstoke's SOAR platform into the Arctic Wolf Security Operations Cloud and Concierge Delivery Model, Arctic Wolf envisions the capacity to achieve security operational results that have eluded many other SOAR platforms.
