The renowned launch operator and rocket developer, United Launch Alliance (ULA), is ready for its sale, with Tory Bruno giving many good words regarding the company, centering on what it can offer to its potential buyer. One of the main focuses of Bruno's latest statement is the new and upcoming Vulcan rocket, its take on a reusable rocket for future missions to rival that of SpaceX's Falcon 9.

Bruno's latest interview put ULA on a pedestal as a worthy purchase of its potential buyer but remains unknown if the company has found one and is already in talks.

ULA CEO Tory Bruno recently told Bloomberg News that the company is ready for its upcoming sale, with the company going through the necessary steps of preparing it for others. According to the CEO, ULA went on its overhaul, and it is now "primed" for its future buyers without any problems to deal with after acquiring one of the top launch providers in the world.

"If I were buying a space business, I'd go look at ULA," said Bruno. "It's already had all the hard work done through the transformation. You're not buying a Victorian with bad plumbing. It's all been done. You're coming in at the end of the remodel, so you can focus on your future."

With that being said, Bruno did not divulge any more information about ULA's sale, not revealing any names interested in buying the company.

ULA's Vulcan Rocket is Ready for Launch

It was announced earlier that ULA is looking to launch the inaugural test flight of the Vulcan rocket come this 4th quarter, particularly by the December 24, 25, or 26 launch windows. This will test the capabilities of both the Vulcan and Centaur V spacecraft, following the work done earlier this year after its explosion.

Should the company not get the chance to launch in these days, there is still another backup date for January 2024.

United Launch Alliance

Earlier this year, the rocket developer owned by Boeing and Lockheed Martin, United Launch Alliance, has been speculated about its upcoming sale to other companies. It was also reported that it will join and combine with other space companies in the industry, with those named including Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin and the renowned aerospace and defense company, Northrop Grumman.

Amidst the news of ULA's sale, its famed rocket, the Vulcan, particularly its upper stage known as the Centaur V, saw an explosion as it went under its inaugural test flight. Earlier this year, ULA already brought the Centaur V back to its laboratory so that it may continue working on the rocket, improving its technology and having it available for a successful test in the future.

ULA's Tory Bruno is now talking highly about the company, with him priming it as a good investment for other companies, saying that it is all good and ready for its new owner after its "remodeling." That being said, the Vulcan is set to go for its test flight this December 24, right before Christmas, to show the world its capabilities, hopefully a successful one for the company.
