Users on various social media platforms have discovered a new way to monitor the happenings in Gaza and other war-torn areas amidst the Israel and Hamas conflict, and this was done through the Snap Map. According to X users, the Snap Map is a service from Snapchat that shows different media (photos and videos) that are geographically-arranged, compiling Snaps from certain locations.
It was said that this has helped provide a lens through the Middle East's most conflicted areas in the present, with the map showing the many updates from the Gaza City and the Gaza Strip, along with other locations.
People are now posting on X the many happenings over at the Israel and Hamas war via the Snap Map stories from people who are there and sharing it for all to see.

Through this feature, firsthand accounts of the Israel-Hamas war can be seen, but an advice of caution to all, some violent clips and bombings may trigger bad memories or traumas for some, with residents of the area showing the current happenings there, before news coverage.
