Attention all Quest 3 owners: a special but limited treat from Meta is now here to bring you more games to experience on your mixed-reality headset, with as many as 12 free games available to access. This is via the Quest smartphone app, and this means that users would need an account to authenticate the app and get the free games included in the service.

This is part of the incentive from Meta which centers on the Quest 3 AR/VR headset, its latest take on the immersive wearable experience.

Redditors have shared via the r/OculusQuest subreddit that there is a new offer from Meta accessible for Quest 3 owners to experience. This is via the Quest mobile app that offers a free six-month access to the Meta Quest Plus service for access to more than 12 games.

For six months, users who bought their Quest 3 headsets are eligible to redeem the free and premium access to the service. TechRadar claimed that this was originally exclusive to those who bought the 512 GB variant of the Quest 3, but users who claimed they purchased the 128 GB variant were also able to redeem the trial.

Through the Meta Quest+ subscription, users get two free games per month, equating to 12 free games for the premium trial's half-year duration.

Here's How to Redeem Your Free Games on the Quest App

Users only need to have the Quest mobile app installed, but requires their purchase of Meta's latest mixed-reality headset, regardless of its storage size.

Next, on the Quest app, look for the promotion that offers the Quest+ for six months right on the feed. Going on Quest+'s website and redeeming from there would only give them a one-month free trial. November's game offers NFL Pro Era and Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs as the first two freebies.

Quest 3: The Mixed-Reality Experience from Meta

Meta's unprecedented release of the Quest 3 is a massive leap from the company's development of the tech wearable, especially as it previously focused on its virtual reality leg. The Quest lineup welcomed a new headset that offers the best of both worlds, either immersing oneself in the VR stage or incorporating both experiences that factor in augmented reality.

One of the more enticing factors for the Quest 3 is how much it costs, and it would only cost users $500 to get the AR/VR experience that already features a Snapdragon chip and capabilities to access Xbox Cloud Gaming.

And while many claim that Meta still has a lot to develop and improve so it can go toe-to-toe with Apple's Vision Pro, other reviews are already satisfied with what it has to offer at its price range. Mixed-reality experiences are still hard to come by, especially as it is a new stage for all, but taking advantage of free games offers users a chance to utilize more of their headsets with renowned titles.
