Have you ever strolled through the landscapes of Baldur's Gate 3, eyed those abandoned fishing rods, and wished for a serene fishing experience? You're not alone.

Despite the game's capacity for diverse adventures, fishing has remained elusive. Larian CEO Swen Vincke has heard the collective groans and is on a mission to remedy this omission.

In a straightforward tweet spotted by Gaming Bible, Larian CEO Swen Vincke announced, "I'm working on a fishing game." While the revelation is tantalizing, details about the project remain sparse. It's unclear whether the entire Larian Studios team is dedicated to this venture or if it's a passion project undertaken solely by Vincke.

The Romance of Fishing

As the news spread, the community erupted with speculations. Many fans wonder if players are allowed to build a bond with a fish. It's also possible that the game will let them talk to the aquatic creatures while looking for a day's catch.

The possibilities are as intriguing as they are amusing. Some gamers ponder whether this fishing endeavor will exist as a standalone game or be seamlessly integrated as a mini-game within Baldur's Gate 3.

Tranquil Fishing Experience Guaranteed

While concrete details are scant, Swen Vincke's revelation has sparked hope among gamers for a tranquil fishing escapade.

Given Baldur's Gate 3's history of surprising its fanbase with new content, the prospect of a fishing option seems well within the realm of possibility. With the game already receiving patches and updates, a fishing feature could be the next unexpected delight for devoted fans.

While we await more information, one thing is certain: the promise of a relaxing fishing game from the makers of Baldur's Gate 3 is enough to stir excitement among fans. Whether it turns out to be a serene angling experience or takes an unexpected turn in a similar world with BG3.

In other news, Swen Vincke dedicated an emotional tribute to all people who were part of Baldur's Gate 3 production and development. It's even more tearful when he praised the works of his dead comrades who finished the game before they passed away.

If there's good news about BG3, there's also bad news. According to Polygon, Larian CEO felt extremely sad after Hasbro laid off workers under Wizards of the Coast.

Vincke said that the group has helped Larian in developing Baldur's Gate 3 from scratch. Wizards of the Coast contributed for the system support and story of the game.
