Fortnite is reportedly set to give out 14 gifts to its players, an announcement following the official beginning of the game's Winterfest 2023, just in time for the holiday season, as per Comicbook Gaming.

The report states that players may claim these 14 gifts throughout the event: Ship It! Give presents to others. These freebies may be found under the Quests area of the game, where players can get skins, gliders, and other items.

The new Winterfest Bushranger and Holiday Boxy skins are among them. The 14 presents will be released once a day, which already began last December 14.

These gifts are reportedly stacked upon one another, so even if the player misses a day, they will still be available for claim the next day. Readers should remember that all presents must be claimed before 9:00 a.m. on January 2. ET, leaving players plenty of time to claim the gifts.

Presentblade Back Bling, Gilded Back Bling, Holiday Boxy Outfit, and Snowfaller Contrail are the four presents that are now reportedly available. LEGO Fortnite is also a part of the freebies, as a LEGO Fortnite version is known of the traditional Holiday Boxy outfit design.

Winterfest 2023's Limited Time Events

Dexerto adds that there are also bonus rewards for bonus goals during the holiday-themed event, as completing the Winterfest quests will reward players with a Snowball Smasher Pickaxe, whereas completing the 'Ship It! Express Snapshot Questline' will give players a Level Up token.

Players, however, will not be able to finish objectives associated with the event once it ends. Thus, to complete the objectives to level up and redeem its rewards, players must log through the event period, similar to claiming the 14 gifts.

IGN also reports that 'Ship It,' a brand-new, time-limited game mode, is accessible for Fortnite Winterfest 2023! Similar to Zero Build, this game mode prohibits the use of firearms. Only throwable weapons and consumables are available for players to defeat adversaries and make it to the game mode. To compensate for the unique gameplay, the game mode supports more treasure spawning and supply drops in express way.

Shell Shocked Fortnite

Comicbook gaming adds that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed content has also made its Fortnite premiere during the Winterfest 2023 event.

On December 14, the skins featuring designs inspired by Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael were reportedly available in the Fortnite item shop. Also unveiled was a design inspired by April O'Neil.

Although Epic Games revealed these skins as part of the Winterfest event, they are not giveaways and must be bought with V-Bucks. There have been no reports on whether additional TMNT-based characters will be added to the game, so turtles fans will have to settle for the skins that are already available for the time being.
