From comic books to anime, Fortnite delivers some of the top crossover experiences in the industry, and most recently, its Chapter 5 Season 2 theme that is coming soon sees a leak. The next-in-line for Fortnite's future offer will center on ancient mythology, with the experience set to be seen on the maps, content, new characters, bosses, DLCs, and more to be offered in its next drop.

However, it is important to note that this will not yet arrive anytime soon, as Chapter 5 Season 1, a.k.a. 'Fortnite OG', is set to remain until March 2024.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Leaks: Ancient Mythology Coming

HYPEX reported on the latest leak behind Fortnite's Chapter 5 Season 2, claiming that the theme coming for its next major update would center on Greek mythology.

And no, it would not be from spinoffs or adaptations of the renowned ancient beliefs, but the mythology itself, centering on a new map and theme that captures the era. Moreover, the leaker claimed that rumors say S2's codename is called "Aiga" (αίγα), which translates to "Goat."

Additionally, Greek-themed skins were also discovered in the recent survey, centering on the 11 Greek gods and goddesses, alongside three monsters: Medusa, the Minotaur, and Cerberus. There is also a dedicated 'Greek outfit' and an unknown skin rumored.

However, it remains unknown if Epic Games would bring the famed Mount Olympus, a.k.a. the home of the gods, to the game.

What to Expect from Fortnite's Chapter 5 Season 2 Theme

Earlier leaks also corroborate this rumor, stating that there was already a discovered "Lightning Spawn Effect" for the Season 2 boss, also speculated to be the god of the skies and lightning, Zeus.

New NPCs are also coming alongside reportedly 5 different WIP bosses, all under the Aiga codename.

Fornite and What it Has to Offer the World

While Fortnite is a pretty solid game, it does not see the massive number of players it used to have before, but that was not a problem for Epic Games as they continued with what they had to offer the world. The company also managed to regain top numbers again, being the center of attention thanks to its Chapter 5 Season 1 theme which brought back the original Fortnite map and experience.

Also, one of the most recent and largest crossovers from Fortnite centered on the LEGO franchise's arrival on the Battle Island, delivering an iconic depiction of the famed construction toy.

Not to mention its regular updates for new offers and collaborations with renowned pop-culture names and elements, as seen in its various releases.

Chapter 5 Season 1 saw a homage to its early beginnings, and Fortnite captured the hearts and interests of global fans because of these offers, not to mention its many collaborations along the way. That being said, there are already plans and hints for what is next to come, particularly with the leaked Greek Mythology theme that is coming next Season, following the OG offers.
