After years of centering on offering on-demand movies, series, and same-day episode drops, Netflix is now shifting to a new kind of streaming for its audience thanks to the latest partnership it signed with WWE. Starting next year, Netflix will be the exclusive streaming platform for live screenings of WWE's Raw program alongside other shows, offers, events, and more.

Other streaming platforms offer Live TV or streaming to their content but are mostly centered on another tier to get this experience.

In a recent news release from Netflix, the streaming platform is diving deep into the world of live TV offers thanks to its confirmed partnership with one of the top US shows in the world, WWE. To be more particular, Netflix will soon stream live episodes of WWE Raw, and this also includes other programs and weekly shows like SmackDown and NXT.

However, it does not stop there. Netflix will also carry the "Premium Live Events" of WWE, including the likes of WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Royal Rumble, as it is now the exclusive new home of the top wrestling league in the US.

This new venture was recently inked by Netflix with WWE and TKO Group Holdings, Inc., to begin the live offers come January 2025.

Live TV on Netflix's Streaming Platform Soon

This is a new direction for Netflix's streaming platform as the company has not yet aired live shows, similar to the television experience before. WWE Raw is known to be the top show on the USA Network, also regarded for its massive fanbase that could attract more subscriptions for Netflix's future live offerings with the wrestling content from its WWE partnership.

Netflix's Streaming and MORE

When talking about what streaming platforms to have or subscribe to, Netflix is always one of the top choices mentioned, and this is because of what the company has to offer its subscribers. The platform has an array of interactive shows to enjoy, one where the audience is part of the storytelling and narrative, best seen on Black Mirror's Bandersnatch and Trivia Quest.

There is also the massive addition of Netflix Games, and while it seems to be a different direction for the streaming platform, it saw various titles that are worth one's while, especially in passing time or enjoying mobile gaming.

The latest addition to Netflix Games was the recently remastered trilogy from the Grand Theft Auto franchise, offering the three games straight to the mobile.

With the massive offers from Netflix that center on original productions of movies and shows, down to renowned titles available on-demand, the streaming platform has not yet dived into the world of live showcases for its audience. Its first step towards offering live and HD streaming was recently announced, partnering with WWE and TKO Group Holdings for all things wrestling.
