One of the biggest-literally-crossovers of Minecraft is coming soon, as the game recently teased the arrival of two cinematic and pop culture titans, Godzilla x Kong, as part of their upcoming movie in the first part of the year. This will bring pixelated versions of the two humongous freaks of nature, with the renowned kaiju of Japan, born of radioactivity, and the ancient King Kong of Skull Island.

With both titans now facing a larger threat than both of them, they are heading to Minecraft first to bring their massive presence to the game.

Godzilla x Kong Minecraft Crossover Teased

PUBG and Call of Duty went ahead before to bring Godzilla and Kong to their game, but this time, it is time for Minecraft to do so amidst the upcoming sequel film to release later this March, "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" from Warner Bros.

This new teaser from the Minecraft Marketplace dropped the new poster of Godzilla and Kong fighting against each other, only saying "Coming soon..." to the post.

It is important to note that Kong is seen using a makeshift weapon, one which users may craft in-game, resembling a new version of the ax.

Additionally, Godzilla is seen bursting immense amounts of power from its mouth, best known as the kaiju's signature move, atomic breath.

What to Expect from Godzilla and Kong

There were no details left out by Minecraft and Mojang for gamers to know about this upcoming crossover, as well as when this will drop to the game. It was also left out by the team if this will be part of an update for free, or be a DLC to purchase from the company.

Additionally, it is expected around late February or by March, around the time the Warner Bros. film will be released for the world as movie crossovers with games typically go-ahead for its special content.

Minecraft's Crossovers in the Game

While Minecraft is best known as the best-selling game of all time in its own right, there are massive crossovers throughout the years which helped improve more of its numbers and expand the experience. The renowned sandbox and open-world game gave the world a chance to build, explore, and collaborate with gamers who share a lot, including renowned DLCs to experience.

DLCs are massive on Minecraft, and many people enjoy the expansion brought by the team over at Mojang to bring more to the world-building fun available in the game. At one time, the company's DLC offered a way to experience the world of Sonic the Hedgehog, but while it is not exactly the real deal, it offers a massive likeness to the original one.

Additionally, Minecraft is best known for the mods available to experience, with other pop culture entities already appearing unofficially.

Now, it is adding two large beasts to walk over the world of Minecraft, with Godzilla and King Kong soon to bring their pixelated humongous bodies to the game. This new teaser by Minecraft did not mention anything about what these two characters will bring to the game, but this will arrive amidst its upcoming film, The New Empire, which will feature both letting go of their differences and joining forces for the world.
