9to5Mac reported that there would be new dimensions to expect from the upcoming iPad lineup slated for the year, claiming that the iPad Pro and iPad Air would both get the upgrades for 2024. It is important to note that the screen sizes would stay the same for the iPad Pro lineup, but the iPad Air is getting a bigger screen and body for this year's release.
Currently, the 11-inch iPad Pro features a 247.6mm x 178.5mm x 5.9mm body, and the 12.9-inch iPad Pro variant has a 280.6mm x 214.9mm x 6.4mm frame. The latest scoop is its latest dimensions for the iPad models coming out this year.
- 2024 iPad Pro (11-inch): 249.7mm x 177.5mm x 5.1mm
- 2024 iPad Pro (12.9-inch): 281.5mm x 215.5mm x 5.0mm
- 2024 iPad Air (12.9-inch): 280.8mm x 214.9mm x 6.0mm
According to the report, the iPad Air would now feature a 12.9-inch screen, two inches bigger compared to the last model with the 10.9-inch screen size.

What to Expect from the 2024 iPad Update
The new dimensions do not feature massive differences from their old models, unlike the iPad Air, but the new changes for the iPad Pro would be a thinner version of the renowned business-inclined tablet. It is unknown if this would help reduce its weight, especially for the iPad Pro, as it might be offset with the additional hardware previously speculated for a new MagSafe.
