ChatGPT users may now directly access DALL-E's AI image generation capabilities on the chat, as OpenAI now brings the feature for its AI chatbot to offer.

This integration offers a significant feature that allows ChatGPT users to create images using their text prompts right on the chatbot's interface, no longer needing to leave the app or website and head to DALL-E

Apart from this, users can edit the images directly on ChatGPT, connecting more of the experiences for all AI-powered creations.

According to the latest announcement from OpenAI, users on ChatGPT may now access DALL-E directly on their respective chatboxes in sessions with the renowned AI chatbot.

This effectively removes the need to head over to DALL-E 3's specific platform to create images from text prompts powered by the company's renowned AI model.

The OpenAI LLM, GPT, powers both platforms, with ChatGPT initially exclusive to text content and DALL-E for photo generations.

Now, users only have to type in their prompts and ask the chatbot to create an image for them, and the chatbot will comply with their command.

The dedicated DALL-E experience on ChatGPT also inspires users for their prompts, with tabs that, when users hover their mice on, would show a preview of the image it could create.

This connected experience empowers more of ChatGPT to extend beyond text generation, offering a multimedia approach to its generative AI capabilities.

OpenAI's ChatGPT and DALL-E

Perhaps the most popular AI company in the world is still OpenAI, and it centers on the renowned technologies available, such as ChatGPT and DALL-E, powered by its large language model (LLM) GPT.

ChatGPT remains the most popular OpenAI app, and it is also its first release.

Now, it features significant experiences like Read Aloud and more, powered by GPT-4 (and, for Premium users, GPT-4.5).

On the other hand, OpenAI's generative AI image generator, DALL-E, is now in its third-generation release, DALL-E 3, which is also touted as one of the most advanced technologies available.

These apps have OpenAI cover almost all creative generators needed by content creators, and despite its issues, they are still the top-regarded services available.

Before this integration, ChatGPT and DALL-E were separate entities, yet both were powered by GPT-4. Each focused on its strengths, which are text and photo generation AI, respectively.

However, why go to separate apps when users can have a single platform that combines the best of OpenAI, which the company has now made available for all users?
